VEHICLE DETECTORS

Nortech International is a leading supplier of INDUCTIVE LOOP VEHICLE DETECTORS used in the control of car park boom gates, and motorised industrial doors and gates. The primary function of a vehicle detector is to detect vehicle presence by means of an inductance change caused by the vehicle passing over a wire loop buried under the road surface.
Nortech Vehicle Detectors are state-of-the-art products incorporating many innovative features now copied by rival products. These products are machine assembled, employing SMD technology and a single microprocessor chip for superior performance and reliability.

CAR PARK SPACE COUNTING

Nortech Car Park Counting components may be utilised to implement a stand-alone car park monitoring system to monitor and display the car park occupancy.
Vehicle detectors at entrances and on ramps are used for vehicle counting. An electronic capacity counter is pre-set to the number of vacant spaces and receives count information from the counting loops. The system will control a static FULL sign or will optionally provide a count of available car park spaces and indicates" FULL" at zero count.
Nortech supply counters for incorporation into 3rd party systems but also offer outdoor rated FULL signs and four digit VMS signs for capacity counts.

CAR PARK VEHICLE GUIDANCE

IdentiPark is a purpose designed and built product providing a turnkey solution for Car Park Vehicle Guidance systems. IdentiPark utilises Parking Bay Sensors that constantly monitor the occupancy of each and every parking space in the facility. The system will monitor and coordinate all vehicle movements and direct drivers to available parking spaces using Guidance Displays and illuminated messages signs.
The system will reduce traffic congestion, vehicle emissions and driver frustration while maximising car park occupancy and optimising space utilization.
The IdentiPark system includes all compatible hardware components including parking bay sensors, guidance displays and an integrated IdentiPark Vehicle Counter for highly accurate circulating traffic counting.

VEHICLE ACCESS ELECTRONICS

Nortech International are suppliers of high-tech components used in Car Park, Vehicle Access and Industrial vehicle detection systems.
Track Vehicle Identification tags and readers for vehicle access control are used in industrial and depot management applications. The Track Receiver uses a standard detection loop as an antenna and will function with most loops already installed for loop detectors.
The Track 100 receiver provides a simple contact closure to indicate a priority equipped vehicle while the T2000 range provides serial data that can interface to computer systems or Access controllers.
Nortech also offer proximity card readers and stand-alone Access Controllers.
