New Bicycle / Pedestrian detection sensor

Nortech have developed a new Tactile Loop Controller that can detect bicycle and pedestrian movements on a Surface mounted Switch Pad. 

The new Nortech PD134TLC Tactile Loop Controller has been designed to provide specific “logic” outputs from the patented EzyLoop Systems tactile Surface mounted Switch Pad intended primarily for pedestrian detection.  Together they provide a pressure activated electronic method of detection that provides both “passive presence detection” and “directional detection” of pedestrians and vehicles.

Vehicle detectors and power failures

Where vehicle detectors operate at sites that experience frequent power failures, safety may be compromised unless suitable precautions are taken.

In particular, where rising bollards or similar devices are in use, vehicle and equipment damage may result from the closure of a boom gate on a vehicle in the moments following power restoration.

New Car Park “FULL” sign

Nortech Detection sells a popular range of Car Park counters that are used to monitor the number of remaining spaces in small car parks that do not have automated parking equipment.  Some sites require only a "FULL" indication when there are no longer any spaces available.

To meet this demand, Nortech have added a "FULL" sign to this product range.
